The Timothy Initiative is the church planting center of Grace Fellowship in West Palm Beach, an SBC and GOBA member church. The goal of TTI is train people to start multiplying churches that reach their community. Church planters go through a 12 month hands-on training process where they learn Biblical foundations, basic doctrine, preaching and teaching skills, disciple-making and church multiplication. In order to graduate, each student must first plant at least one church. The TTI strategy has been used in 30 countries resulting in 285,000 new disciples and 19,000 new churches planted in just over 6 years.
The TTI strategy results in disciples making disciples, churches planting churches, and church planting centers developing new church planting centers. With multiplication taking plance on every level, exponential growth occurs. TTI focuses on training church planters while equipping them to be trainers of trainers. This process also reduces the cost involved in starting new churches. The average cost of starting a new church is around $200. Churches of any size can partner with TTI to plant churches in Florida and around the world. For more information, visit http://www.ttionline.org.
