First Haitian Launches English Church
First Haitian Baptist Church of Orlando celebrated her 25th anniversary last year. Since the church's founding, 35 French Creole language churches have been started in the Orlando metro area. Most of these churches have a connection to First Haitian. Now the church is reaching out to second and third generation Haitian-Americans and other people groups by starting an English language church in the Hunter's Creek area.
The church is sending out their youth pastor, Charles Jones, to be the lead church planter in the new start. New Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church, which launched her first public worship service on Palm Sunday. The church will gather for Sunday morning worship in Freedom Middle School at 10 a.m starting Easter Sunday, April 24th.
