Common Ground Church
Pastor: Mike Olive
Meets at The Bamboo Room
25 South J Street Lake Worth, FL
Common Ground Church focus is loving God and loving people. It is not uncommon finding people walking the sidewalks of downtown Lake Worth with "Love>Hate" (love is greater than hate t-shirts).
The church loves the city of Lake Worth and the people. Everyone is welcome to attend the church's get togethers. On March 1, 2015 the church was ordered by the City of Lake Worth to move out of the coffee house that they had been renting for several months. At issue was the fact that the church had not obtained a "business license" to operate as a church inside of a coffee house. With the help of Liberty Counsel, the church was able to challenge the city's unlawful requirements and move back into the coffee house. Now, the church has outgrown the coffee house and has moved to a larger venue across the street in downtown Lake Worth. In this short video message, pastor Mike Olive of Common Ground Church thanks supporters for their prayers while sharing exciting news about the future of the church.
